    Your leadership role:

    You will be an experienced and successful teacher who has a proven track record of responsibility within a History department.  You will be able to plan, teach, and assess History from KS3 to KS5, as well closely monitoring the progress of all pupils within the subject area. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils, instilling in them a love of learning through your passion for History. The school is looking for an exceptional leader who can continue to provide a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

    You will need to exhibit a passion for History and radiate creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom. You will need to be a highly organised and dynamic leader with high expectations of yourself and the pupils, both in the department and whole school.  You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils and the continuing success of a popular, highly valued and thriving subject which plays an integral role in the life of the school as well as delivering high quality examination results –

    You will be an experienced or Newly Qualified Teacher of German and French who can plan, teach, and assess their specialism from KS3 to KS4, and potentially at KS5. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils, instilling in them a love of language.     We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, capable and innovative Teacher of Science with a specialism in Chemistry to teach across the age and ability range.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a determination to improving student outcomes and be exceptionally motivated and committed to achieving the very highest standards.

    Applications are welcome from people at any stage of their career.

    For an excellent candidate the possibility of an earlier start date will be considered.

    Science is a thriving and popular subject at the heart of our Church of England School with all pupils studying at least Core and Additional Science until the end of KS4 and with many continuing to A Level in the Sixth Form.  Our most able pupils study Biology, Chemistry and Physics as separate subjects from Year 9.

    Science is taught in a suite of well resourced, designated rooms.  Students follow the AQA syllabus for GCSE, and OCR for A Level Chemistry.
