    We have an opportunity for a Deputy Network Manager in a Multi-Academy Trust currently comprising six Church and Community schools in the northern part of the London Borough of Bexley. Strong Christian values are the basis of everything we do and will continue to be central as the Trust expands.

    The Deputy Network Manager will be responsible to the Information Systems Director, will work closely with the Trust Network Manager and may from time to time give functional guidance to technicians. We would expect the appointee to be capable within the first year of taking primary responsibility for the Windows networks on two or more school sites.

    The role requires the meticulous application of a broad range of technical skills as well as the ability to liaise effectively with senior leaders and over 400 staff. Some contact with primary and secondary age pupils is also required. Applications are welcome from candidates who cannot immediately satisfy all of the experience criteria if they can demonstrate sustained ability to develop their skills and experience. While previous experience in an educational environment may help, the ability to remain calm under pressure and to take effective technical action is of the essence.
