Excellent examination results once again...
2012 saw yet another set of excellent results for the pupils receiving their GCSE exams at Trinity. Over 72% of pupils gained 5 A*-C grades with almost 99% of pupils gaining 5 A*-G grades (inc. English and Maths).
The figures for 5 A*-C (inc. English and Maths) are equally impressive with over 52% of candidates attaining the top grades. The figures for the demanding ‘English Baccalaureate’ (where pupils have to attain at least C grades in a range of subjects) are particularly pleasing with the number of pupils achieving this having almost doubled since last year.
Over a third of results were A*, A or B grades. There were many outstanding individual performances this year and amongst those the following are to be commended:
Cariss Addy: 4A*, 5A, 1B, and Dist
Hannah Russell: 4A*, 6A, 1C, and Merit
Hayley Crone: 2A*, 4A, 4B, and Merit

The results for all pupils, at all levels of ability, reflect the hard work and dedication that each pupil has put in.
Ian Collins, Head Teacher, said, “We are very pleased with these results which demonstrate the supportive relationship that exists between pupils, parents and staff. We look forward to continuing to work with the many pupils who will be returning to join our ever-growing Sixth Form in September”
