Trinity Day 2012
Trinity Day 25th May 2012
On Trinity Day we said goodbye to Year 11. As well as the parents of our Year 11 students our special guest at the celebration was Bishop Lindsay Urwin. We were also joined by David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, school governors and senior representatives of neighbouring schools, the local authority and Bexley Police.
After a tour of the School for VIP’s and guests, there was a ceremony in the hall at which each student was presented with an individual Progress File, There were speeches by the Head Teacher and the Chairman of governors, followed by an address from Bishop Lindsay. This was followed by a celebration of the Eucharist, led by Bishop Lindsay. VIP’s, guests and staff then had lunch together.
In the evening the Year 11 Prom took place in the School Hall. This annual event is organized by the Trinity School Association - the TSA. It was thanks to their hard work and that of staff that Year 11 were able to celebrate their official leaving of school in style. Limousines, Hummers, open-top London Buses, posh dresses, high heels and smart suits – the transformation was complete.
