Year 7 PSHE WE Villages Fundraising
As active citizens they are each aiming to raise a minimum of £5 to help WE Villages improve the lives of some communities living in India, by trying to eradicate poverty. Find out more about the work of WE by visiting their website: www.we.org/gb/we-villages/where-we-work/india/
Last year, £2,186.73 was raised, with a large number of pupils greatly exceeding their £5 targets! Can the current Year 7 pupils do even better?
Pupils can raise their money in a variety of ways including; sponsored activities, cake sales, making and selling items and donations from places of worship, if pupils present what they have learnt. They have all discussed lots of ideas in their PSHE lessons and there are lots of ideas on Show My Homework too!
Their fundraising can be paid online to school (look for 'Year 7 PSHE WE Villages Fundraising' on the website) or before school or at break time to the finance office in Westminster (money should be in an envelope with their name, teaching group and the charity on the front).
Good luck with your fundraising quest Year 7!
